Bluetooth Pedal

Contents

A foot pedal lets you turn pages, move between songs or start autoscroll without touching the screen – ideal when both hands are on the instrument.

Supported pedals

Any Bluetooth pedal that acts like a keyboard works – it sends Page Up / Page Down or the arrow keys. Tested pedals include the AirTurn PEDPro and the M-VAVE Cube Turner. Pair the pedal in the system Bluetooth settings first. Pedals that send MIDI are set up under MIDI.

Default mapping

Out of the box the pedal keys do the following:

KeyAction
Up arrowPrevious section
Down arrowNext section
Left arrowPrevious song (in a setlist)
Right arrowNext song (in a setlist)
Page UpScroll up (80% of the screen)
Page DownScroll down (80% of the screen)

Moving between sections also controls which part is projected when lyrics projection is on.

Your own mapping

Open a song, tap the settings icon and go to Control → Bluetooth Pedal (see SongViewer Settings). Turn off Use default mapping and tap Add mapping:

  1. Press the button on the pedal (or select the key) – JustChords shows the detected key.
  2. Choose the Action.
  3. For scroll actions set the Scroll distance in percent of the screen and optionally Smooth scroll.
  4. For next / previous section and scroll actions choose whether the pedal may Allow jump to next / previous song when you reach the end / start of a song.

Tap a mapping to edit it, or swipe to delete it.
