When you delete a song it is not gone immediately. It moves to Recently deleted, so an accidental delete is easy to undo.
Finding deleted songs
The Recently deleted entry (trash icon) appears in the library sidebar as soon as at least one song has been deleted. A badge shows how many songs it holds. It disappears again when the list is empty.
Restore or delete for good
- Swipe or long-press a song and choose Restore to put it back in your library.
- Tap Select to pick several songs (or Select all / Deselect all), then Restore them or Delete them permanently with Delete songs. Permanent deletion asks for confirmation.
If the same song is deleted several times only the latest copy is kept in Recently deleted. The list is synced together with your library (see ICloud Sync).
